Busy, busy, busy

So I had my ultrasound with the specialist yesterday. The doctor said everything looked just the same as the other ultra sound. The baby is big and there is a lot of amniotic fluid, the kidneys are slightly dialated, but all are within the limits of normal, just the upper limits of normal. So, I guess it doesn't mean anything at this point. He said I should be fine seeing the normal doctor here on base and that I should be fine to travel across the country at 34 weeks. I guess you never really know for sure, but hopefully everything will go well on the trip across country and I won't end up giving birth on the side of the road in the middle of Nebraska. At least I'll have a pediatrician with me ;) If the pioneers could do it . . . . ha ha ha!

Today was my last day of teaching joy school. It was crazy, but good. It's nice to be done. The people who are taking our dog just picked her up. Samantha and Michelle started crying. Michelle was really dramatic. I have to admit though, that of everyone in the family, she probably loved Lucky the most. Samantha, however, didn't really do much with the dog. She was just being kind of silly. With everyone crying though, I shed a tear or two and I saw John hiding his face for a few moments. I hope all goes well with the new family.
